Our Story
Hi, I’m Shayne Alvis, owner of High Country Builders, LLC, based in Gardnerville, Nevada. My passion for building and remodeling homes started back in 2000 while I was still in high school. With half days at school, I’d head straight to the job site in South Lake Tahoe, where I worked on spec homes and learned the craft from the ground up.
After graduating, I dove full-time into the world of construction, bringing dreams to life through custom home builds, spa-inspired bathroom remodels, modern kitchen renovations, custom woodworking, and outdoor projects like deck and fence construction. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping homeowners, landlords, and vacation rental owners transform their spaces into something truly special.
